The Auckland Racing Club is New Zealand's premier racing club and Ellerslie is the show place of the Thoroughbred Industry. Ellerslie hosts twenty six race meetings a year and the course has a world renowned reputation for the beauty of its lawns, gardens and trees as well as its famous steeplechase track.
