Day one of the traditional two day Queen's Birthday Carnival at Ellerslie will host two major races - the Listed Cornwall Handicap and the Chairman's Trophy.

Monday, 2nd June (Queen's Birthday)
Day two of the carnival features 4 jumping races among an 8-race card. Make sure you are at Ellerslie to see some of New Zealand's finest jumps horses compete in two major races - the KS Brown Hurdle and the McGregor Grant Steeplechase.

Throughout the carnival, gate entry is free and Ascot (Members') Stand tickets are $10.00 per person (children under 15 years are free). Tickets can be purchased on the day at the Race Day Office.

There is free parking beside the Southern Motorway (entrance off Ascot Avenue from Greenlane).

Food and drinks are available for purchase in a number of restaurants, food stalls and bars on course however picnics are most welcome.
