Easter Carnival

Featuring the Group One $200,000 Land Pride Easter Handicap and Radio Sport's Mascot Dash for Charity Cash; the traditional two day Easter Carnival at Ellerslie is the perfect way to spend Easter with family and friends.

Saturday 11 April is the feature day of the carnival with the popular and entertaining Radio Sport Mascot Dash for Charity Cash making its return to Ellerslie. This highly entertaining spectacle involves a number of New Zealand's favourite mascots dash 100m down the home straight to win prizes for their charity of choice.

This year's mascots include Cheeky the Kea from the NZ Breakers, Harold the Giraffe from Life Education Trust Giraffe, Bluebeard from the Auckland Blues and many more!

Saturday the 11th also features FREE children's entertainment between 12.30pm and 3.30pm. Children are invited to come and feed the animals at Old MacDonald’s Farmyard, enjoy a pony ride, get their face painted and have a go on the Easter-themed bouncy castle. PLUS some of the mascots on course will have giveaways including books, card games and chocolate!

General admission to the carnival and carparking are free.
