VIVA Fashions in the Field has become synonymous with the Boxing Day races at Ellerslie. The event has always played an integral part in setting the fashion at the Boxing Day races and has developed a loyal following among the fashion elite. It has evolved over time and is the largest outdoor fashion event in the country.

With over $65,000 in prizes to be won across six different categories who will take centre stage and win this years event?

* JET Streetwear Under 25
* Mens Racewear
* Natalie Chan Millinery
* Fujifilm Avant-Garde

1. What will the judges be looking for?
Our panel of judges will be looking out for outfits that are appropriate to the occasion (a hat, fascinator or hairpiece is an essential component for the ladies, a suit and tie for the gents), coordination, style and orginality, along with attention to detail. The Fujifilm Avant-Garde category is where you can break all the rules - the judges will be expecting some wild and creative entries!

2. How can I enter?
You can pre-register online however please note that if you have pre-registered you will need to make yourself known to staff in the registration marquee at the VIVA Fashion Village before 12.00pm on the day.

Registration on the day will open at 10.30am and close at approximately 12.15pm. Entry into the competition is free however you will need to pay for racecourse admission.

Hospitality Options
Hospitality in the VIVA Fashion Village can be purchased for $50pp.

Please note: only those who have purchased VIVA Fashion Village hospitality can enter the reserved seating area. Public and contestants who have not purchased hospitality can view the competition from the grandstand.
