The Christchurch Convention Centre is New Zealand's largest purpose-built convention venue. Situated in the heart of Christchurch's CBD, this iconic Canterbury landmark is surrounded by deluxe accommodation and is only 15 minutes from Christchurch International Airport. Its unique and contemporary architecture boasts a 10-metre high glass façade and is connected by air bridge to the Christchurch Town Hall for Performing Arts and one of the city's leading hotels.

Flexibility:

The venue is built around a pillarless hall that can be segmented into two or three smaller halls. These open up into a pre-function area leading to the impressive naturally lit foyer. A winding staircase provides access to the first floor where there are seven breakout rooms, a business centre, board room and bar.

With 8-metre high ceilings, flexible space and drive-in access, the Christchurch Convention Centre caters for an almost endless variety of events, from conventions and exhibitions to gala dinners and smaller meetings. The potential of the Christchurch Convention Centre is further enhanced by its air bridge link to the Christchurch Town Hall for Performing Arts and one of Christchurch's largest hotels. It adds into the mix a world-class 2,500 seat auditorium, a 1,000 seat theatre, both ideal for plenary sessions, and several additional conference rooms.
