FLICK presents short film and television productions by students whose work may one day be seen by hundreds of thousands of New Zealanders.
The FLICK showcase features a cross-section of work from students enrolled in the various programmes offered at the NZBS. This includes Digital Film and Television Production, with work including drama, sitcoms and short films; Digital Video Post Production, where students learn the skills of video editing, motion graphics and visual effects and Broadcast Journalism involving news and documentary making. Combined, all these skills create the stories that shape the way we see the world. For anyone with an interest in the broadcast media, turn off the television and come into FLICK for a sneak preview of the future, and to discover the opportunities for a career in the screen industries.
Flick is part of the Ignition Programme, which is a showcase of creativity at CPIT.
