The historic Three Lamps Plaza in Ponsonby is home to Sidart. Sidart offers some of the best views of the Auckland skyline. The intimate restaurant seats up to thirty-five guests each night.

Chef Sid is well known for his eclectic style. Seasonal New Zealand produce is combined with classical and new age techniques to achieve culinary perfection.

In its first year, Sidart was awarded “Best New Restaurant” of 2010 by Metro Magazine. The following year Metro magazine, awarded the restaurant “Best dish of 2011” for its John Dory with Paua. Chef Sid was given the honour of Progressive restauranteur of the year 2012 (runner-up) by Metro Magazine.

Sidart has been in the top 50 for Cuisine Magazine’s, New Zealand restaurant of the Year for 2011 and 2012.

The restaurant is ranked number one restaurant in Auckland on TripAdvisor by its diners. The only gold award to be given by the Dineout Peoples Choice for 2012 went to Sidart this year.

We can cater for Private functions for up to 40 guests. Menus can be tailored to suit.
