The Remarkables skifield is located near Queenstown on the south-eastern shore of Lake Wakatipu. Towering peaks shelter three sunny bowls and 220 skiable hectares of terrain.
At the Remarkables it's all about fun, families, freestyle and love of the big mountain environment. Catering superbly for the beginner and intermediate market, there is also a wealth of big mountain possibilities for enthusiasts.
A highlight of the Remarkables field is "The Stash", a newly developed Burton signature terrain park; the first of its type in the Southern Hemisphere. The Stash creates an avenue of hits and features unique to the local environment for all jibbers. This extends the terrain parks at The Remarks to 3 and freestylers of all ages are welcomed.
Off the mountain you can enjoy a relaxed alpine atmosphere with DJs, live music and heaps of entertainment throughout the season.
