Come and visit Dargaville, the hub of the Kauri Coast, on the Twin Coast Discovery Highway.
The Commercial Hotel was built in 1876 and is recognised by the Historic Places Trust, and is located in Mangawhare, Dargaville, on the banks of the Northern Wairoa River. It is a two storied building with long verandas overlooking the river.
The Commercial Hotel is within walking distance to the rural town of Dargaville with many shops and restaurants. The local District and Maritime Museum is a scenic walk up Mt Wesley to the south of town.
The Commercial Hotel Bed and Breakfast has been recently renovated. We have eight (ensuite or non-facility) rooms to cater for your needs. We have a large kauri floored dining room and a lounge with pool table and TV.
