Te Puna Whaiora ki Rotorua Children's Village

Te Puna Whaiora ki Rotorua Childrens Village provides a caring, supportive and healthy environment where primary school children aged between 5 and 12yrs receive training in social skills, peer relationships, and are provided with time out and respite care. Programmes have been produced for a variety of child needs, from anger management, loss and grief, to wetting and soiling.

Te Puna Whaiora ki Rotorua has developed, and continues to develop, programmes that meet referred children's specific needs. We offer individual and group programmes, education and health management activities, as well as emphasising routine, limit setting and individual child self-esteem.

The following programmes are used as appropriate to deal with the needs of each child:

Safe and Strong, Asthma Awareness, Good Food, Epilepsy, Communication Skills, Skin Care, Diabetes, Ear Care, Use of Leisure Time and Recreation, Social Skills, Faecal Soiling - Beating Sneaky Poo, New Image, Everyday Self Care & Everyday Living with Others, Everyday Safety & Everyday Feeling Good, Enuresis, Our Children and Us, Stop Think Do, Parenting Programmes.
