Sandy Carter Photography is all about having fun with photography and capturing those moments that you least expect - a smile, a kiss, a frown - human emotion.

We specialise in family portraits which we take in our boutique studio 20 minutes outside of Palmerston North. Because we are designed around family units, the kids can even feed the alpacas after their portrait session!

We are not just about family portraits though. Creating memories of your wedding day is a very special type of photography, where care is needed to make sure it is your day that is captured, not what someone thinks it should look like.

And we are very proud sponsors of the Swamp City Roller Rats, our local Roller Derby League. Totally different from capturing family portraits, roller derby is just as challenging for the photographer as it is for the skaters. A fast sport with a rule book as large as an old fashioned phone book. If you haven't been along to a bout put it on your 'to do' list. If you come along to a Rats bout keep an eye out for 'Paparazzi Flasher' and 'Forensic Exposure'. We will be there on the sidelines capturing all the fun.
