RH Gallery

The RH Gallery was founded in December 2007. It was established to champion a programme of exhibitions of contemporary art of a national and international standard. The location for the Gallery was chosen to build on the Woollaston Estates established reputation and commitment to the visual, arts, music and literature, as well as the significant sculptures commissioned for the Vineyard by owner an...d philanthropist Glenn Schaeffer.

Through its dynamic programme of exhibitions the RH Gallery works to support the future of its artists: the continually evolving practice of established artists and the wide-ranging potential of emerging and new talents. RH Gallery is located on the Woollaston Estates Vineyard at Mahana, 35 minutes drive from Nelson City. It operates as a commercial gallery, its objectives being to further its artist’s careers by supporting the productions, presentation and sale of their work.
