Oamaru Intermediate School

At Oamaru Intermediate we seek to develop the full potential of each student, with an emphasis on building self-confidence and self-esteem. We aim to instil values through character education and promoting key competencies in social and academic areas. Our mission is to prepare students to be active participants, who will contribute to their community.

We have a teaching and learning culture which is totally focused on meeting the developmental needs of young adolescents. We provide quality learning experiences for our pupils and place significant emphasis and resources on developing their competency in literacy and numeracy.
