In April '95 Le Café opened its doors to a modestly developed Picton, a then relatively sleepy transit town in the top of the South Island, New Zealand.

Early morning as the doors open - The Marlborough Sounds

Le Café brought the first "Real Coffee Machine" to town, that marked the start of many locals' addiction to the brown stuff.

After 5 years of trading Le Café shifted to its current location, doubling in size with a view second to none. That shift saw Le Café take a step towards restaurant as much as café.
