Located at the beautiful Tahunanui Beach, Nelson's Natureland Zoo is a fun, family friendly setting. Visitors can view exotic, domestic and native animals. See the antics of busy meerkats and mischevious monkeys. View a range of stunning native animals such kereru, tui, native geckos, kea - the world's only mountain parrot as well as the tuatara - an ancient reptile. A stunning array of colourful Australian birds is on display.
You can also help to feed our friendly domestic animals such as sheep, deer, goats and much more. Bring a picnic and enjoy the setting.
