This park is a well-used sports and recreation facility, featuring two bookable sports fields.
Andrew Griffen gifted the land as a recreation area for local youth, and named it after his late wife Margaret.
The Lynfield Youth and Leisure Centre, Lynfield Playcentre and Western Bay Sea Scouts are based at the northern end of park.
The park also has:
a looped trail around the sports fields and a boardwalk through a wetland area.
a playground for ages three to eight.
