Hutt City Musical Theatre

Hutt City Musical Theatre is an incorporated society, dedicated to bringing quality musical theatre to Lower Hutt City. As an amateur company, we provide an opportunity for individuals and families to become involved in musical theatre productions in a variety of different roles; from front of house to backstage, directing to sound, lighting, costuming and makeup, as well as on stage roles. Recent shows have included Little Shop of Horrors, Cabaret, and Grease, which all received very positive feedback from audiences.
Based in the Old Epuni Community Hall, on the corner of Mitchell Street and Oxford Terrace, Hutt City Musical Theatre also have responsibility for managing bookings for the Hall, which is currently home to a number of community groups. The Hall is also available for functions such as weddings, and performances, such as plays and dance recitals.
