Huhu Cafe

At HUHU we offer a range of menu items, which are natural, healthy, and appeal to a wide range of tastes. Ingredients are sourced locally wherever possible. There is a truly New Zealand flavour to the menu.

Our menu runs throughout the day from noon until the evening and we often have additional lunch specials available as well. Our coffee, roasted by Atomic, is fair-trade and of a very high standard.

The wine list is carefully chosen to complement the menu, and all of the dishes on the menu have a recommended wine match to accompany them. Our wine list features a number of examples of the main New Zealand wine varieties, available by the glass and/or bottle.

We also have a growing selection of boutique New Zealand beers and ciders to enjoy - we serve Taranaki's Mike's Organic Beer on tap, as well as a Summer Ale from the Hawke's Bay, a black beer from Wellington, an India Pale Ale from Christchurch, a ginger beer from Dunedin and a number of ciders from Nelson to name but a few.
