One of New Zealand's most popular ski resorts, Coronet Peak is located northeast of Queenstown, on the southern slopes of the 1,649 metre peak which shares its name.
The field offers varied terrain and superb facilities, with spectacular views from the skifield south across Lake Wakatipu and nearby Lake Hayes.
With over 60 years of passion and quality, dedicated veterans and first timers will be blown away by the recent multi-million dollar transformation of Coronet Peak elevating this much-loved mountain to true world-class status.
The new base building's superb facilities include larger and improved food and beverage service areas, ticketing, storage, rentals and a huge sundeck and expanded child care facilities and creche, now catering for up to 30 children.
The automated snowmaking system will be extended to over 200 snow guns, guaranteeing snow cover throughout the season.
