In 1988 the Warwick Henderson Gallery moved from Auckland city central to our new purpose built Gallery in Parnell. The Gallery specializes in fine contemporary and period New Zealand Art. We represent many prominent NZ artists including Nigel Brown, Philip Trusttum, Fatu Feu'u, Trevor Moffitt, Mervyn Williams, Rozi Demant, Robyn Kahukiwa and Philipa Blair.
The Gallery has shown over 200 exhibitions. There have been group and solo exhibitions including retrospectives of Philip Trusttum, Nigel Brown, Trevor Moffitt, Dame Louise Henderson, Keith Patterson and Kase Jackson. The Gallery has also curated unique shows such as 'The Toy in Art' and 'Naive Art', 'The Automobile in Art' and Early NZ Photography. The Gallery Director, Warwick Henderson has also curated two touring shows specifically for public institutions, the 'Toy Show' and the 'GamesShow'. The 'Toy Show' toured NZ public Institutions including the Auckland Museum for two years.
Every year the Gallery exhibits a group show of Gallery and other leading NZ Artists and a catalogue of New Zealand Fine Art.
