• "I've been singing Jimmy's songs for years and when I moved from the States to New Zealand, finally living near the ocean for the first time in my life, I knew I had to continue spreading the gospel according to Buffett every weekend. My change in latitude never changed my parrot head attitude. Over the years I've had the honor and privilege of working with and meeting several of the brightest stars in the music and movie business. There were only a few that I've ever wanted to actually sit down and have a conversation with: Dolly Parton, Merle Haggard and Jimmy Buffett. Dolly was just as lovely as I could have ever imagined. Merle was as haggard as any honky-tonk hero could be. That leaves Jimmy Buffett! Inspired by the Margaritaville man himself I've become a commercial pilot, have an ocean view and sail when I can. I hope to shake his hand, share a story or two and buy him boat drink or cheeseburger in paradise. We even have a seaplane friend in common right here in NZ."
