  • "New Year's Eve Dance at Hobsonville RSA. A fabulous night, we had all a real treat with complimentary Hogmanay surprises from the RSA: the piping in and toasting of theHhaggis (and the ode by Rabbie Burns!), haggis, mashed tatties and mashed neeps for all to try, first footing with free whisky/sherry or juice to toast the New Year, and shortbread and black bun. The night just couldn't have been any better, thank you. The large crowd was in the mood to party and we obliged with good old rock 'n' roll all night long, with the occasional slow dance for everyone to catch their breath! We look forward to repeating the fun on Friday, January 28th - see you there..."

  • "The Halloween Party at Henderson was a 'roaring' success, especially as so many of the big crowd made a huge effort to dress up! The staff and members of the club had gone to a lot of trouble to create a ghoulish atmosphere, even had a 'Cemetery Grotto' where photos and portraits could be taken. It was well worth decorating the guys and the stage!!!"

  • "The Saturday, July 17th Papatoetoe gig went really well. An earlier start seemed to suit as the crowd stayed on to dance. A mixed audience of rock 'n' rollers and traditional dancers certainly gave the band's repertoire a good work out! It's always a pleasure to play at Papatoetoe RSA..."

  • "It was a blast at the Ahuroa Dance...everyone dressed up in their favourite 60's gear! From the very first note the dance floor was full of rockers and jivers, and some didn't stop dancing all night long. Those people from Ahuroa sure throw a great party and know how to have a good time! There was copious amounts of praise for The Kavalliers, and they even had to play encores at the end of the evening. To see what a fabulous time you're missing out on, come to a gig near you..."
