The Black Seeds Announce Winter Tour...and a Remix Competition
Having just returned from a successful tour of North America and Europe in July, The Black Seeds have announced four South Island shows in September.
Described by the U.K’s Clash magazine as 'one of the best live reggae acts on the planet', The Black Seeds will perform shows in Christchurch (9/9), Dunedin (10/9), Queenstown (11/9), and Timaru (12/9).
The tour coincides with the band’s recently announced remix competition, where fans get to create their very own Black Seeds remix. The winning artist will have their track featured on the bands forthcoming Specials LP, as well as receiving a percentage of profits from its sales. The Black Seeds Specials is a collection of remixes and out-takes from latest album Solid Ground, due for worldwide digital release in September.
Tickets on sale Monday 9 August.
