Rita Angus, one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s most iconic 20th century artists, has an important place in our collective imagination. Hers was an Antipodean take on international modernism. Join us to celebrate her work and life in a talk with exhibition curator, Lizzie Bisley.

Lizzie Bisley is the Curator Modern Art at Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. She specialises in modern art and design, particularly from the years between 1920 and 1950.
