Wellington Jazz Festival - Oscar Lavën & Adrian Jensen

Dynamic jazz clarinettist/multi-instrumentalist Oscar Lavën and breathtaking guitar specialist Adrian Jensen present an homage to swing guitar icon Django Reinhardt and jazz violin superstar Stephan Grappelli in the perfect setting of Wellington's hippest underground bar.

Hot Club, the irresistible style of 1940s Parisian swing, is steeped in Dadaist dreamscapes and silver-screen romanticism and moves from foot-stomping shuffles to heartfelt ballads to blistering virtuosic speed, all just with an acoustic guitar and a clarinet! Lavën and Jensen are excited to share this special programme, a rare evening not to be missed!
