Puanga Twilight Festival

Celebrate the Māori New Year with whānau and friends here in Palmerston North. Get among the fun festivities that we have planned and learn about Puanga!

Following last year’s successful event, this year’s festival will be even bigger and better, taking place at the Central Energy Trust Arena’s Pit Lane.

This family-friendly festival will include a number of kapa haka and musical performances, food and retail stalls, and activities for the kids. We’ll also have a spectacular LED lighting display of the Matariki constellation and Puanga star which you can walk through.

Puanga is a time for celebration, reflection and unity. Join us as we honour the traditions of the Māori new year and create lasting memories with friends and whānau.
