Right in the heart of Palmerston North city, just 7 minutes walking distance from the CBD, Arena Manawatu is a favourite choice for events with a significant visitor component. The park like environment boasts 33 individual indoor and outdoor venues within the 18 hectare site.

Arena Manawatu's main outdoor venue is the FMG Stadium - the home of Manawatu rugby and the Mighty Manawatu Turbos. Overlooking the Oval, the redeveloped grandstand was completed in March 2005. The new grandstand complements the highly regarded playing surface and has been the prime reason why Arena Manawatu has been so successful in recent years in securing a range of international and national sporting fixtures.
