About the artists:

Luke Thompson didn’t mean to take five years to finish 'The Trials and Tribulations of Adam and His Seed', the follow-up to 2016’s Tui-nominated 'Hosts'. The concept for the album had been percolating for a while, an unformed sense; a “spirit, a hunch, a colour”. Something archaic and prophetic. A wide-lens look at mankind and his struggle to exist. A return to folk music at its most elemental definition; songs as cultural stories, spanning generations like family heirlooms. See Luke Thompson performing live for the first time since the long-awaited and highly-anticipated album was released, and fan-favourites from previous works.

Multi-faceted music maker Nic Manders takes home the prize for liner note mentions. He’s worked with most of the industry’s national treasures on some of the country's most recognised albums, running all sides of the desk in the roles of producer, mixer, engineer and session musician. Fast forward to 2020 and the release of his debut album, 'This Time', which showcased the work of a seasoned songwriter with the inventive flourishes of a man adept at manipulating a studio soundscape. See Nic Manders performing live as he plays favourites from the album and familiar songs.

Independent New Zealand artist Georgia Lines fills spaces with her soulful, dream-like vocals and distinctive feel-good, R&B-sprinkled-pop. Her effortless melodies and lyrics are woven together in such an authentic and skilful way, they’ve connected with listeners all around the world. Like all great artists, she makes music that authentically illuminates what it means to be human. This is why it's inspiring listeners to hit repeat and head to her shows. See Georgia Lines performing live as she joins this epic line-up, for an incredible night.
