On Wednesday the 5th of October we will be running a special school holiday event for children - baking on our Victorian coal range.
Experience baking in the 1880s kitchen at Highwic using an authentic Victorian coal range.
Bring your children to join Highwic’s volunteer cooks making blueberry muffins. Then look around the heritage building while the baking is in the oven — your muffins will be ready to enjoy after about 30 minutes.

Numbers are limited to six in total at each session, so booking is essential - there are two sessions:

Session 1 - 10:45 to 11:15 – at the table
Session 2 - 11:45 to 12:15 – at the table

A vegan option is available, but no other dietary alternatives can be accommodated in these sessions.
Cost: $15 for adults to participate or $10 for adults to watch/accompany children, $5 for children to participate (up to two children per paying adult). Children must be 5 years or older.

Bookings are required as spaces are limited. To book contact Highwic on 09 524 5729 or email highwiceducation@heritage.org.nz
Highwic, 40 Gillies Avenue, Epsom, Auckland.

This event will go ahead under the current Covid Traffic Light system for the region. Under the current traffic light system visitors are required to wear a mask, maintain social distancing and sanitise.
