The Exhibition is a collaboration between Narrator June Pitman and Photographer Claire Gordon, presenting a visual network of life stories and images viewed through the lens of the personal adventures and experiences of growing up and living in Tamaterau as recalled and shared by the descendants of Māori families who, through the layers of time, have continued living and maintaining ahi kā on their ancestral lands.
They are living kaitiaki of their stories, and those handed down to them through generations.
