Fun fun fun for all ages - kiwi, trains, tractors, gecko, dress ups, scavenger hunt, museum, heritage buildings and a big park!

We are running activity sessions 10 am to 1 pm daily, from Monday 28th September until Friday 2nd October with our educator Shirley. These include a traditional school lesson from 1898 with dress ups, arts and crafts, recording interviews with your parents or grandparents and making your own planisphere and holograms. Have a look at the events page on our website for more information on each day's activities.

Kiwi Feeding is at 11 am, 1 pm and 3 pm daily - watch our kiwi Raukura and Zephyr as they have burrow battles and sneak out for a tasty meal.

Meet Flash the Tuatara when he comes out for Tuatara Encounter on Monday 28th September and Thursday 1st October at 11.15 am.

Bring a hat and explore Heritage Park in the sunshine - let those little legs stretch! The trains start from 30th September... Big Trains and Tractor rides run Weds, Thurs, Fri and Mini Trains on the Wednesdays only - from 10 - 2 pm. Please note that extra charges for the rides apply and will only operate in alert level 1.

Entry includes the full trifecta of the Whangarei Museum, the nocturnal Kiwi House and Heritage Park.

Please book a spot for your child by phone or email bookings@kiwinorth.co.nz OR call 094389630. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
