Exploring Sacred Spaces - LDS Church

Auckland Inter-Faith Council invites you to enjoy a tour of the chapel on Pah Rd, and learn about the faith and its people. See how members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints journeyed to Tāmaki Makaurau. Hear stories of how their faith has sustained and fortified them.

Church membership began in Aotearoa in the 1800s with a large Māori following. Since then, many church members have come from the various islands of the Pacific.

Hear how their shared faith unites them in spite of their cultural diversity.
