Moana Roller Derby Annual Intake

Interested in joining Moana Roller Derby as a derby skater or as an on-skates referee? Our yearly intake (training course) starts on the 29th April 2019. Give it a go to see if roller derby is for you!

No previous skating experience is required, our coaches are happy to assist you in learning to skate. We are also on the look out for non-skating officials to help at our games - full training is provided. There is a place for everyone in Roller Derby!

The full course runs for two terms at a cost of $100 per term, but you can try it out for the first few sessions for free.*

*$5 cash per session to hire skates and safety gear, or bring your own! No fees required to be paid until after the first 4 sessions.

Please note that Moana Roller Derby is a women's only league, but people of all genders are invited to our on-skates training course to learn to skate and join us as referees. Open to skaters 16 and up. If you are not *quite* 16, but have previous sports team experience please see our coaches as we may be able to consider younger skaters on a case by case basis.
