The Blue Bird Cafe

The Blue Bird vegetarian café is located in the heartland of the culturally diverse inner-city suburb of Mount Eden in Auckland, New Zealand, and specialises in vegetarian and vegan cuisine. The Blue Bird is one of several small businesses run by members of the New Zealand Sri Chinmoy Centre. Both nationally and globally, the Sri Chinmoy Centre is dedicated to fostering a happier and brighter future – what our spiritual teacher Sri Chinmoy described as a ‘oneness-world-family’ – and to offering the message of inner peace and harmony to our modern world.

One of the theme goals at The Blue Bird vegetarian café is to provide a tranquil oasis for our customers – through friendly staff, peaceful music, a relaxing decor and a genuinely spiritual atmosphere. We believe that universal harmony begins in the heart of each individual and our goal is to nourish that harmony by offering delicious vegetarian food prepared in the spirit of love and oneness.
