National Museum of the Royal New Zealand Navy - Te Waka Huia O Te Taua Moana O Aotearoa

The Navy Museum showcases the story of the New Zealand Navy. Visitors to the Museum can take a journey through the memories, perils, loss and triumphs and humour of the men and women who served - and continue to serve in the New Zealand Navy.

Fascinating objects, personal reflections and models tell the story of the Navy and the individuals who were and are part of it. Discover the luckiest ship in the First World War, marvel at the massive gun from a submarine sunk by two small New Zealand minesweepers in the Second World War. Try some Navy uniforms on for size, whilst you check out how sailors lived on ship in our mess deck. There's something for everyone at the Navy Museum. Onsite café and children's playground.

Admission: NZ residents - Free
International visitors 18+ $10
