Located at Parnell Trust's Glanville Community Campus, Parnell Early Childhood Centre promotes, enhances and supports children's care and learning. As of 1 October 2011 the centre merged with Parnell Infant and Toddler Centre, which was located on the same site. The combined centre now cares for children aged between three months and five years, with dedicated spaces for each developmental stage.
The infants and toddlers are cared for in the spaces previously known as Parnell Infant and Toddler Centre. These areas have been specially developed to allow the centre's youngest children to grow and explore their environment.
The children over two play and learn in a large, well-resourced and engaging space, while in the Kindergarten, the older children participate in a programme that includes some formal learning experiences evolving from an emergent curriculum that supports their transition to school.
