Mill Creek Bird and Animal Encounters features more than 400 birds from natives to exotics. Their private collection consists of over 40 species and their various colour mutations, including the NZ Kakariki.
Get up close and have your photo taken with one many tame parrots, including Magoo, the Macaw. There is also have a small collection of pheasants and reptiles.
Feel free to watch Gaye hand feed the many baby parrots that she hand rears in season. When available, bottle feed the lambs and kids.
Mill Creek also has a number of tame farm animals including donkeys, mini horse, emus, milking goat, rabbits, guinea pigs and more.
A day of great fun for whole family. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy a peaceful, relaxing day at our beautiful park.
