The Methven Heritage Centre opened in April 2010 and is a new facility which incorporates conference facilities, a visitor attraction, Methven i-site and the Heritage Cafe.
In Winter 2011, the Centre will open the New Zealand Alpine & Agriculture Encounter, an experiential visitor attraction using the latest in interactive technology and visual story-telling to take visitors on a journey from the mountains to plains, featuring snowsports, agriculture, geology and the weather.
