This is an exquisite private collection of antique hand-played and mechanical musical instruments dating back to 1840, built up over 25 years by the Clements family. A vast collection of music sheets, recordings, small musical accessories also feature along with lantern slides, old photos of New Zealand and overseas interest, and a collection of Maori and other ethnic music.
This museum is located in a building attached to our farm homestead situated about 48 kilometres north of Wellington.
