Marine Gardens

The Marine Gardens are located across Rosetta Road adjacent to the Raumati Beach Shopping Village. Offering a peaceful walk through nicely shaded and open gardens and a large playground for the kids, the Gardens are within easy walking distance to the beach and other facilities such as the Raumati Pools and the Kapiti Bowling Club. Marine Gardens also houses the Miniature Railway Ride, which tracks around the Gardens and operates every Sunday. The Marine Gardens are complemented by the Raumati Beach Shopping Village, a great place to shop or dine providing everything you would expect from a shopping village. There are plenty of options with regard to accommodation, with many just across the road (Raumati Sands Resort) or within easy walking distance. There is a regular bus and taxi services available. Public telephones and an ATM is located within the Shopping Village.
