The Lane Gallery will not be renewing the lease to the premises at 33 Victoria Street and the business will close activities from this site effective 30th April 2010.
The current economic climate, particularly in the CBD has had a major impact on the gallery’s trading and we see no point in carrying on.
The Directors have put considerable additional funding into the business over the past two – three years, and must now draw a halt.
The Gallery in association with a number of its supportive artists is offering work in an 'End of Lease Sale' at value prices for the next two weeks.
If there is anything you have hankered for at The Lane, come in and make us an offer.
The Sale will open on Wednesday 14th April through to the Thursday 29th April.
We have always had our clients and artist best interest at heart, there will be some definite bargains, plus wine and nibbles.
Come in to say goodbye.
