Kings and Queens Performing Arts Centre

The combined King's and Queen's Performing Arts Centre is located on Bay View Road with easy access and ample parking. In addition to the facility being utilized by the two schools, the state-of-the-art theatre is available for hire to Community Groups, other schools and for other commercial productions. It is an ideal venue for performances, meetings, conferences etc.

The Performing Arts Centre has housed a huge variety of events. The students have embraced this facility and all of a sudden they are asking to perform their songs, theatresports routines, Kapa Haka and Pacific Island performances at assembly in front of their peers. The Performing Arts Centre has definitely enhanced the frequency and quality of performances.

Official functions that have been housed at the PAC include; Dunedin Speech Competitions, King's and Queen's Musical, an Art Auction, Prize Givings, Blues Evenings... the list is endless.

We are extremely proud of this facility and look forward to the increased opportunities that it lends to our students - both for performance and for the enhancement of our curriculum.
