H.L.C. is Auckland's "Anti restaurant". So what's an Anti restaurant? H.L.C. is not your standard stereotypical restaurant, e.g. If you get up to go to the toilet in a typical restaurant the waiter will appear and fold your napkin and lay it over the back of your chair for your return, we don't do that type of service, that's not to say we don't give service. It means we, H.L.C., define what service is differently.

We are all about making you feel welcome inviting you in like you are a guest at our house. Relaxed atmosphere, spacies and pin ball machines, courtyard and beanbags, street food, funky cocktails and local art for sale. We have a tavern licence which lets us operate until 4 am but we wont hang around if you turkeys aren't there drinking.
