The Thermal Pools & Spa has a range of pools - nine open-air thermal pools, three sulphur pools and four private thermal pools, as well as a sauna/steam room. A freshwater, heated pool and a popular family activity area - complete with water slides, water toys and picnic area - ensure the Thermal Pools & Spa offer something for everyone.

And with a bounteous supply of the thermally heated spring water, the pools range in temperature from 33-42° Celsius - perfect for soothing away aches and pains or for just unwinding. The Hanmer Springs geothermal water is drawn from a bore adjacent to the reserve complex, providing natural water of the highest quality.

To complete the Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa experience, visitors can also enjoy a range of massage and beauty treatments from the trained professionals at The Spa. These include Swiss and sports massage, detoxifying body wraps and aromatic facials.

The Garden House Cafe, which serves excellent food and wines - from light lunches to a la carte evening dining - is the perfect place to take time out. Situated in the Thermal Pools complex, the cafe is also a novel venue for functions, and events.
