Upstairs Gallery is an exhibition space that specialises in community arts, located on level one of Lopdell House. At the Upstairs Gallery you will find an exhibition space that represents community arts and emerging artists. From the annual schools exhibition to exciting shows from local artists, the Upstairs Gallery is always worth a visit.
The Titirangi Community Arts Council (TCAC) is a community organisation, funded partly by Waitakere City Council and charged with promoting arts at the local level. The TCAC has governance of the Upstairs Gallery – a public gallery that shows approximately 12 exhibitions per year.
Around 1200 people visit per month and there are approximately 200 financial members.
