Artspace

Artspace is the leading contemporary art institution in Auckland. Artspace presents contemporary art by emerging and established New Zealand and international artists. Each year we produce, exhibit and communicate a world-class programme.

Established in 1987, Artspace is a non-collecting, non-profit charitable public trust governed by a Board of Trustees.

Artspace maintains a dialogue with institutions and organisations in New Zealand and abroad through joint projects, touring exhibitions and our International Visitors Programme.

We present a public programme of talks and lectures by artists, scholars and commentators. We produce a wide range of publications. Through our reading room we provide public access to the most up to date contemporary art publications from around the world.
