  • "What is Jazz? How can a musical expression be defined in words, well, that's the difficult part. Whenever I think Jazz, I think feeling. I think calm, smooth groove= feeling. It is a music to be felt. It must lower the blood pressur.e I know Jazz can be jazzy (which is also a great adjective, as in describing a great pair of pants or a great thing), as in moving and very quick, which is great for the dancing part of a day or evening, meeting people through dance is the best thing and the way I have met the best people I know. Jazz from a cool, slow, smooth point of view transcends you into a place of pre-sleep, the most relaxed one can be, but yet still alert. A point of acute feeling before the break. It's feel good music, that's what jazz is; who doesn't feel great listening to it?"
