"My boyfriend and i have been together for just over 3 years now. We got together in july 2005 when he was on a study abroad in nz. In december he had to return to mexico to finish his last 18 months of his degree. So we decided to stay together and try to do the long distance thing. Everything went so well that i booked a flight to mexico for the upcoming june 2006. Of course there were many times i would be so upset missing him and as we were communicating mostly over skype he would assure me it wasnt long to go now and count down with me. My boyfriend is also a singer songwriter and in the time he was back home in mexico he wrote and recorded a song for me and sent it via email to me. so as time went on, everything still going really well, my boyfriend told me he was going away to the states for a weekend with his dad and that we would talk first thing monday morning. Monday morning came and i was woken at 7.30am but the song he had written me .. half asleep and confused i couldnt work out where it was coming from.. i opened my curtain and there he was!! outside my window playing my song on the guitar. He had flown all the way here to surprise and serenade me. Were now living together in new zealand but to this day it would be one of the happiest moments of my life.
