"'Soul' to me means the aesthetic beauty within someone that is naturally exerted. The soul is what makes one's mind, heart and body unique. The id before any filters or influences. Therefore music from the soul is the person's true self expressing opinions and feelings in that person's most natural way, no act. Mary J to me is no act, she knows what she wants to say and knows how to put it across to pinpoint that particular audience she's trying reach.
