Not that I've heard of. If you were a ticket holder, you'll be automatically notified if he schedules a concert here.

    Not that I know of.

    Hi kiwi_shell,
The gates will open at 8pm, with an expected concert start of 9pm. This is the information we have on record, and it looks pretty solid.

As you probably know, we issue the tickets - the actual concert logistics are with the promoter - Chugg Entertainment - one of the most reputable and respected in the entertainment business.

Tip: there will undoubtedly be a queue at the gate, and if the concert is not sold out any remaining tickets will be available on the day at the gate.

My advice - buy tickets beforehand, and be prepared for a queue to get in when the gates open at 8pm.

    Hope this helps,
    Regards,
    Michael

PS. Anything urgent please submit a support request at http://www.eventfinder.co.nz/about/contact-us

You happened to get me still at my desk :)

    Hi kiwi_shell,
Which gig are you referring too?
    Regards,
    Michael

As far as I'm aware, its only GA standing. If there are any other options provided by the promoter we will broadcast it through the website news.

I know what you mean about standing for a long time - but hey - its Jimmy Buffett, and its only going to be a couple of hours at New Zealand's only concert!

You can buy tickets online now without a pre-sales code.

    Try using JimmyFB.

  • GREYMH Mon 17 Jan ’11 at 9:10pm

GA only is the only information we have at this time.

    Hi Matthew,
I've passed on you concerns to the Beer Fest promoters with a request to finalise all the card credits as soon as possible.
    Cheers,
    Michael

    Hi Matthew,
Ticketek is the Wellington Beer Festival ticketing agency, so you should contact them first.

However we contacted the Beer Festival promoters about the Auckland festival, and they were more than happy to refund unspent Beer Dollars.

Please contact Andrew Somervell by email at andrew@beerfestival.co.nz

If you have any problems, let me know and I'll follow up.
    Cheers,
    Michael

Great. While I am disappointed your experience was far from perfect, even if it was beyond our control, I'm committed to making sure you get properly sorted.

We have been advised by the Beer Festival promoters that a faulty batch of cards were mistakenly issued.

While the faulty cards were beyond our control, I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this caused you.

    Hi,
Its better if you list these events use the "list event" feature, as more people see it, rather than just writing a message on your wall.

Eventfinder can also provide online ticketing services for your events at time of listing.

Just drop me a note letting me know what the correct address is and we'll update it.

  • Tony Foster Mon 23 Nov ’09 at 4:12pm

Nice picture Tony Foster - you have been sent a code to redeem for 2 free tickets to the Auckland Beer Festival. Enjoy!
